Welcome to Calorie Counter - NutriGuide (the "App"). This privacy policy applies to the mobile application developed and operated by Putri Yunita ("we," "us," or "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.
Information We Collect

3. Health-Related Information
If you choose to provide it, NutriGuide may process health-related information such as: • Height, weight, body-mass index (BMI), weight trends, goals, and health-import data • Health conditions, including diabetes, and dietary restrictions related to those conditions • Allergies, food intolerances, and ingredient restrictions • Medications, supplements, or digestive aids such as pancreatic enzymes when you choose to provide them through the App or a related support channel

Data Storage and Security
Account, profile, health-import, nutrition, meal, and analysis records are stored on NutriGuide's private backend. Account-associated meal photos may be kept in private object storage so saved meals and unfinished analyses can be recovered. Voice audio is sent for transcription when you use voice logging and is not kept by NutriGuide after that request. We use encrypted data transmission using industry-standard protocols.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services: • OpenAI, L.L.C. (meal-photo and text analysis) • Groq, Inc. (voice transcription) • RevenueCat (subscription purchase and entitlement management) • Google and Apple (optional account sign-in) • Amplitude (product analytics and, only after ATT permission, campaign attribution) • Google Analytics for Firebase (app usage, install and subscription measurement) • Axiom (reliability telemetry) • Infrastructure providers that host NutriGuide's private database, API, and object storage
Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. Your information may be shared in the following circumstances: • With your explicit consent • When you deliberately create and share a read-only diary link • To comply with legal obligations • To protect our rights or property • With service providers under strict confidentiality agreements
Shareable Diary Links
When you choose to create a shareable diary link, NutriGuide makes a read-only web page for the date range you select. Depending on the information available in your account, the page may show your name, age, height, current and target weight, weight trend, goals, activity level, diet type, allergies, health conditions, meals, portions, calories, nutrients, ingredients, and meal photos. It may therefore contain health-related information and inferred nutrition insights. The link opens without account sign-in. Anyone who obtains it can view the page while the link is active and may copy or forward the link or information visible on the page. NutriGuide does not choose the recipient or send the link until you use the sharing action. The link remains active until you revoke it in the App. Shared pages are configured not to be indexed by search engines or stored in normal browser caches, but these controls cannot prevent a recipient from copying or saving information they can view.
Your Rights and Choices
You have the right to: • Access your personal information • Correct inaccurate data • Delete your account and associated data • Opt-out of certain data collection features • Export your nutrition data (by emailing data-export@nutriguide.fit)
Camera and Voice Data
A selected photo is sent only after you separately allow AI photo analysis. NutriGuide sends it through its private backend to OpenAI for meal recognition and nutrition analysis. NutriGuide may retain a private account-associated copy for saved meals and unfinished-analysis recovery; it is deleted with the account. NutriGuide does not use these photos for advertising or model training and does not opt in to OpenAI training. Voice audio is sent to Groq only when you record for meal logging, is used to produce a transcript, and is not retained by NutriGuide after the transcription request.
Automated Insights and Inferences
NutriGuide uses automated systems to analyze the profile, meal, nutrition, text, photo, and voice-transcript data you submit. The App may identify patterns and generate health-related nutrition insights from this information. These inferred insights may themselves be health data. They are estimates for informational purposes, may be incomplete or incorrect, and are not a diagnosis, medical treatment, prescription, or substitute for advice from a qualified healthcare professional.
Advertising Measurement and Tracking
NutriGuide may ask for Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission during onboarding or from the Ad Measurement control in Profile. If you allow it, the app may use Apple's advertising identifier with Amplitude, Firebase and RevenueCat to measure which ads lead to installs and subscriptions. The app also passes Apple's ad attribution token to RevenueCat so subscriptions can be matched to Apple Ads campaigns; this token does not identify you personally. If you decline or the device restricts tracking, the advertising identifier is not read or sent. Your choice does not limit any app feature, and you can change it later in iOS Settings.
Firebase Analytics records app installs, sessions, onboarding steps, and subscription activity using an app-instance identifier and an opaque account identifier. It also derives an approximate region from a masked IP address; it does not use the phone’s GPS or Apple Location Services. RevenueCat receives the Firebase app-instance identifier so subscription events can be associated with the same installation. We use this information to understand app performance and measure our Google Ads campaigns. When you start a subscription or free trial, the app also sends the plan's price and currency with that event, so we can tell which campaigns lead to paid subscriptions. These measurements are shared with Google to measure and optimize our ad campaigns, including building audiences for our own campaigns. NutriGuide does not show ads inside the app. The advertising identifier is only used if you allow tracking in Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, and Apple's SKAdNetwork reports ad-driven installs without identifying you. If ad measurement is on and your account has an email address, the app uses Google's on-device conversion measurement: the email is converted into a one-way hash on your phone, and only that hash is used to match an ad interaction to your install. The readable email address is not sent to Firebase or Google. We do not send meal content, photos, voice recordings, health measurements, dietary answers, or passwords to Firebase Analytics. You can turn this off at any time in Profile with the "Share ad measurement data" control. When it is off, the app tells Firebase not to use your data for advertising and stops on-device conversion measurement; basic app analytics continue.
Children's Privacy
NutriGuide.fit does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Users will be notified of any material changes through the app or via email.

International Users
By using NutriGuide.fit, you consent to the transfer of your information to servers in the United States and its processing there.
Mobile App Storage
As a mobile application, NutriGuide.fit uses the following types of local storage rather than traditional cookies: • Secure device storage for authentication tokens • Local cache for improving app performance • App preferences and settings storage • Encrypted secure storage for sensitive information • Temporary storage for unfinished food logging sessions These storage mechanisms are necessary for the app's functionality and can be managed through your device settings or by clearing the app's data/cache.
Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations. Specific retention periods include: • Account, profile, health-import, food, and nutrition records: while the account remains active or until they are deleted • Account-associated meal photos: while needed for saved meals or unfinished-analysis recovery, and deleted with the account • Voice recordings: not retained by NutriGuide after the transcription request • Usage analytics: 12 months You can request data deletion at any time through your profile settings or by contacting privacy@nutriguide.fit.
Data Portability
As required by GDPR and other privacy regulations, we provide data portability options: • To request a copy of your data, email data-export@nutriguide.fit from your registered email • Your request will be processed within 7 business days • Exported data includes: account information, nutritional logs, meal history, and profile data • Data is provided in commonly used formats (JSON/CSV) • There is no fee for standard data export requests • For large or complex requests, we may require additional verification or processing time
